Description: I got this velvet dress and purse at a doll collector's estate sale. She had an extensive Princess Diana collection and was an accomplished seamstress. I believe that this dress is hand made (no tag). It is a long sleeved black velvet gown with a white satin collar & cuffs. It is fully lined. She also fashioned a black velvet clutch purse with a pink handkerchief with a "D" embroidered on it and a gold crown. There are 2 photos of Diana and her boys inside the purse. The dress measures approx. 12 inches in length. It has snaps on the side. I'm unsure which Diana doll it would fit. She had primarily Franklin Mint Diana dolls.
