The 8 aperture blades are snappy and oil free. Aperture, zoom, focus, and macro rings turn smoothly. It takes 55mm filters and comes with a built-in hood. Minor wear/scuffs here and there. Adjusting the focus, aperture, zoom, and macro rings manually is not difficult, and it becomes easier with practice. * This is a nice compact lens with good handling, smooth focus, useful zoom range, and a respectable max aperture.
