The package shows signs of a price tag on it that has been pulled off and also large areas of label removed. It appears the tape on the edges has simply failed on some of the pieces other have not. I couldn't not open it fully to inspect the actual lens. Therefore I believe these are unused and new, just older and the tape failed. Please see the side pictures where the manufacturer seal or tape half way down the box is in place. We came into these items from a family member that had a love for cameras and photography. He had the opportunity to buy the closeout of a camera store at some point. We are helping the family sell these items.Looks like you can still get this filter on the Promaster site for a pre high price. Please see picture marked "sample".
