Do NOT leave the collar on when not in use as a training device. Do NOT leave the collar on when the dog is tied out. Do not grab prongs by hand. Proper fit is important to distribute correction evenly around the dog’s neck. For this, the prongs should gently rest on the dog’s neck. Use care in putting the collar on your dog and do so by unfastening the snap and refastening it once it is placed around your dog’s neck. Do NOT slide the collar over your dog’s head – this could cause injury. The collar should be positioned so that the O-ring/swivel is on top.
