If you would like to replace the battery for wireless play: The simplest way to do so is - 3.7v lithium-polymer MINI batteries with a red and black wire protruding from them will work as long as they will physically fit inside the controller. When taking off the back of the controllerthe battery is right there easily in front of you, upper left. It will be soldered to the controller with a red and black wire. Cut these wires and discard the old battery, then replace with the new battery. It is safe to cut the wires on the replacement battery, strip off some shielding, and just twist red to red and black to black using your fingers. Tape up the bare wire and replace the back of the controller shell The original battery is 510mah, A customer mentioned that a 3.7V 400mAh worked fine.
