Psychatrone Rhonedakk American Primitive Electronics CD psych electronic Swims

Description: My last released CD is a compilation of Psychatrone Rhonedakk tracks from the early cassette and CD-R releases...plus two new (well,2008 ....) cuts book-ending it all. American Primitive Electronics was to be the clearing of the vaults for a new start (?) ....many cuts from the early releases are re-mixed from the multi-tracks,....and one 8 minute long cut has guitar by local musician Brian Langan of Pennsylvania's The SWIMS (Tangerine Nightmare),last cut is a cover of Lou Reed's "I'm Set Free" ! This is a very varied set ,that has long-form old-time "synth prog" sounds in the "Space suite" (about 17 minutes!) to short pieces found while remastering stuff like a cut that's an out-take from a Tall Dwarfs (of New Zealand) rhythm track submitted for their STUMPY album....another track I sent was used! Valium Cavandish is a bit like Yo La Tengo ...filtered through Auckland New Zealand's sensibilities....possibly! All mastered professionally ...for best sound. Again....WFMU, KFJC and WREK were playing these to my amazement when I sent copies to them (from the 30 each CD-Rs I had made)....may the Gods Bless 'em! The title might clue you all into the fact that the sounds here were made with very low-budget equipment and a ton of processing and manipulation through kick-pedals in my bedroom "sound lab" ...in the 1980's to 1990's! Freaky weird pieces made for my own amusement ...that sooner or later I decided to share with whoever would care or listen.
