Colours vary from dark purple to white to peach and pink and even yellows. We have several clumps of these beauties in our gardens as you can see in the pictures. These seeds require stratification prior to planting or can be winter sowed to get the optimal cold/moist stratification period prior to germination. Lupins can be difficult to germinate without proper stratification. I have found the best method is dry cold stratification followed by the nicking of seeds followed by warm, moist and dark stratification to achieve a nearly 100% success rate in germination. → Add on: Garden plant marker. Tags can be wiped clean with a cloth, some dish soap and a good scrub. We love these and use them for everything!
