Queen - The Game Vinyl LP 1980 Elektra Records 5E-513 tested, sounds vg, 1 owner

Description: Purchased new in early 1980's. Both sides test played in their entirety just prior to making this listing. Album has been stored vertically in a stereo cabinet out of direct sunlight, in climate-controlled, smoke-free homes since purchase. Record Grading: (Fair)Both record surfaces are bright and glossy but with numerous scratches, more so on Side Two. Most of the scratches appear superficial. I couldn't decide which side to test play, so I played all of both. Audio was clear and undistorted, with moderate crackling during some quiet parts, and occasional crackling and popping audible over the music. I heard two skips in track 1 [Rock It (Prime Jive)] of Side Two, but no other skips on remainder of both sides. I grade conservatively so I'm grading this record as Fair but if not for those two skips, I would have graded it Good.The labels look very good with only very minor blemishes. Outer Sleeve Grading: (Good) Fully intact single sleeve with clean matte surface. Minor corner wear, moderate edge wear with some creases. Surface is lightly scuffed and a partial ring is visible. Yellowing along edges of opening. Spine is completely legible. Inner Sleeve Grading: (Fair) Fully legible original inner sleeve. One side is completely split open, and there are 2-3" splits in the middle of the two closed sides. Paper is yellowed, with some spots. Paper has some wrinkles and creases, and small nicks and tears along the two sides that are completely open. So overall, this record, jacket, and inner sleeve look a little worn but other than the two skips noted above, the entire album sounded great to me. Please see photos documenting all of the above. Record was wet-cleaned, dried, and comes packaged in a new polyethylene sleeve; original inner sleeve included. Ships via USPS Media Mail, securely packed in a record mailer.
