Description: This wonderful vintage Brooch/Pendant displays the Aztec Feathered Serpent deity, Quetzalcoatl, in brass, surrounded by a crushed turquoise/lapis inlay. Crafted in Mexico, the bezel and backside are Sterling silver and the piece is marked by the silversmith. The brooch measures 2 inches in diameter and weighs 1oz. Both the hinge and the c-clasp are in good working condition. A welded loop attached to the pin allows the piece to also be worn as a pendant.
