Description: Approximately 20" x 40", made to order. This fabric art mountain window scene was inspired by the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. I was always struck by the views of the blue rolling mountain ranges, in lighter and lighter hues as they approach the horizon. I decided to play with my blue batik fabrics, and used raw-edge appliqué to attach the mountains. This mini-quilt comes rogether very much like a bed-size quilt, with the top being assembled first, then quilted together with a middle batting and a backing. The borders are then added, and finally the edge binding. Because your wall hanging will be made to order for you, there may be slight variations in fabric and mountain placement, but overall it will look the same as the ones pictured. This lightweight quilt is easy to hang using the hanging tabs on the back (not pictured) and a long dowel or curtain rod, or simply using the strong clear tacks that are included.
