Description: Beautiful print from an original of the R. C. Gorman, Navajo Woman with Concho. Navajo Gallery - Taos, New Mexico. Beautiful, colorful, detailed print of a Navajo woman with a large concho belt This is so typical of R. C. Gorman. Colors beautiful and detail is wonderful. R. C. Gorman has been called the "Picasso of the Southwest". He is an artist known all over the world. His works are in many museums and he is represented by galleries throughout the U.S. and in Europe. His style is uninhibited and free flowing with a color sense that captivates the eye of the beholder. When asked how he wants to be remembered, he replies "that I was a hard worker, that I cared about the people". R. C. Gorman passed away recently at the age of 74. He will be deeply missed. Framed in a 8 x 10 in solid black wooden frame with glass with double mat in royal and gray that brings out the colors of the print.. Actual Print is 6 1/4 x 4 1/2. Great addition to your R.C.
