This is the original one sheet poster (aprox. 27" by 41") for The Iron Mask (The 1953 Re-release of the 1929 film), a great swashbuckling adventure starring Douglas Fairbanks, adapted from the Alexander Dumas classic novel. This poster was folded for mailing to theaters and it's condition is Excellent (Great condition, a few minor flaws. The paper is in nice shape, with bright colors. There are splits in the top and middle fold intersections, a couple of nicks out of the right-hand edge and a hole in the bottom right-hand border). Please see the reference to grading standards in the last paragraph. This poster was purchased from the inventory of Collectors Bookstore in Hollywood, when they decided to close their doors and retire. It is an authentic and genuine theatrical poster, not a reproduction! Payment is required within 5 days of auction close. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.
