Description: Wonderful original Raimonds Staprans oil on canvas. 1968. 28"x34" I have known Raimonds for decades. This is an extraordinarily example of his late 1960's work. His auction records have been really strong recently. He is 94 and most of his remaining work will be going to Latvia for a new museum so pieces will be harder and harder to come by. This piece was exhibited at the John F. Kennedy University in the late 1970's and still bares that label verso. Has recently had all recommended conservation treatment.
