Description: This is a #525 Ball Vase that was made by the Rainbow Art Glass company of Huntington, West Virginia. Items they made are often confused with similar products made by Blenko, Pilgrim, and others. The company was popular enough that they were acquired by Viking Glass in 1968. This is an item that was produced during those last Viking years before the factory burned in 1972.The vase stands approx. 6-1/8" (15.6 cm) tall and measures 4-3/4" (10.8 cm) in diameter across the top. It has been decorated with rigaree around the neck. The vase is made in the Viking Glass color of Honey and was produced from 1970-72. The piece is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. It has a rough pontil mark & I see a few bubbles in the glass.
