Description This is a very unique and rare “A” quality Rainbow Amethyst Geode specimen with a cut base from Uruguay. Rainbow amethyst can also be refured to as rainbow amethyst because of the multicolored crystal clusters found in some specimens. Rare Black Amethyst is Amethyst that is heavily included with Hematite that it appears black with tints of violet. The red that appears on some of these Amethysts is from the Hematite.
