It includes a title page, framed by a scrolled cartel surmounted by a mask, and 19 plates of men's and women's costumes from the time of Louis XIV. This title was given afterwards to an unfinished series of fashionable figures dedicated to Mr. the Duke of Burgundy engraved around 1685, augmented around 1698.
