Description: *RARE* 1778 "THE ADVENTURER" VOLUME 3 SAMUEL JOHNSON ANTIQUE BOOK (P3)Great *RARE* antique leather small hardback book from 1778 containing reprinted issues of The Adventurer magazine which was a fortnightly magazine issued between 1752 and 1754 and had contributions by Samuel Johnson and John Hawkesworth. Volume 3 only. Photo 2 & 4 show cracking on the cover spine edges. Photo 19 shows a name in antique pen from 1792 on the inside cover. Page binding is strong and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 246 years old.Measures 18cm tall x 11cm wide x 2.5cm thick.
