One of the bloodiest battles of the Napoleonic Wars, with an estimated 4,000 civilians massacred following the battle. The artist did a superb job of capturing the moment in this engraving, richly detailed, somber and almost dark in nature. Engraving is landscape and measures approximately 7 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
