A great print for your collection! A beautiful original color chromolithograph from a rare ~ +115 year-old book, Bulletin of the Bureau of Fisheries, 1906. The color lithographs in this series are printed by A. Hoen & Co., the finest during this time period. These beautiful original and scarce color chromolithographs are highly collectible. I believe the details are more striking than Denton's work of the New York Fisheries Commission Books. Plate size ~ 7 1/2" x ~ 10 3/4". Fish image sizes ~ 8 inches long. The name of fish is at bottom of the page with name of printing company on bottom left side of page, right side plate number. In addition, name of book is on top right side.
