Description: VERY RARE! Offered is a vintage 1932 New York Giants Team Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Incredible image captures the very first time Bill Terry (HOF) met with his team at the Polo Grounds (including Mel Ott at center of photo with hand on hat) on Terry's first day as player-manager, moments after taking the reins from John McGraw (HOF) who was team manager for 30 seasons. HOF members of 1932 New York Giants were MEL OTT, CARL HUBBELL, BILL TERRY and JOHN MCGRAW. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1. Photo measures approx. 7" x 9". Note there was spotting on original negative which has been developed as part of the original image. Also, there is creasing visible at the bottom right, which does not affect the players.
