The obverse of the token features the coat of arms of New Mexico which depicts a Mexican Eagle grasping a serpent in its beak along with a cactus in its talons. Both are shielded by the outspread wings of an American Eagle. The American Eagle is grasping arrows in its talons and resting on a scroll with the motto: "Crescit Eundo which translates into the expression "It goes as it grows". The reverse of the token contains the following.EMERGENCY SCHOOL TAX ON PURCHASE OF TWENTY-FIVE CENTS TAX TOKEN 5 FIVE MILLS The token will ship in a padded protective envelope.
