Description: This is a rare and original late 1940'S to early 1950's hanging thermometer featuring the Sealtest Milk brand. The thermometer has a distinctive red and white color scheme and was manufactured by the Pam Clock Co. It is a unique piece of hard to find dairy advertising memorabilia and would make a great addition to any collection, especially a man cave or retail shop. The thermometer was made in the United States and is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of that era. The newer 1960's Sealtest thermometers have a gold metal rim and back, the original, such as this one, has silver. The thermometer needs cosmetic work, such as cleaning. It is not missing any parts, and all are original. The domed glass cover is not chipped, cracked, or scratched. The metal frame and back needs to be cleaned, I think naval jelly will take care of this, or it can be left in it's condition. The thermometer does accurately work and it measures approximately 12" square. Returns are accepted only if I have not accurately described the item. Pictures are a part of the description.
