Description: Up for sale is a very nice, clean copy of CULBERTSON IN RIME published by Bridge World in 1934. Signed and inscribed by Levett. This is the first edition, first printing. The book consists of humorous short verses making fun of Culbertson's pointers for successful bridge. Culbertson wrote the foreword. Apparently he was a good sport in more ways than one. Condition is good. The gold foil spine wrap is still bright with some light scratches. All four corners are worn through however. Not ex-library. No previous owners' names or bookplates. Intact hinges with an almost tight binding. Clean throughout. No musty odors. It's a great item for anyone interested in bridge humor or the history of the game itself. Size is approximately 5 1/2 by 9 inches. There are 63 numbered pages. Feel free ask any questions you may have; I'd be happy to answer. Shipping is $4.75 via USPS Media Mail. Finally, if you have a moment, you might want to take a look at my other interesting to rare items up for sale this week. Thank you.
