Thank You! ===================================================================== - PRE-OWNED/PREVIOUSLY DISPLAYED VENTRILOQUIST DUMMY/DOLLVERY RARE Jimmy Nelson's DANNY O'DAY32" Ventriloquist Dummy Doll Made By Juro Novelty Co - ONE YEAR ONLY - 1967 This rare Juro Novelty Co limited production version of Jimmy Nelson's Danny O'Day is 32” tall with hard vinyl head and hands. His body, as with the 32" Jerry Mahoneys, also made by Juro, is hollow cardboard. Comes with a ball and socket-style neck. The head is mounted on a wooden post and can turn full circle, tilt, and nod! The mouth works by pulling the ring on the control stick. The rubber band controlling the mouth has been upgraded to a steel spring that presents a smoother moving mouth that will last for many many years! You will find very few of these that have the mouth string on the control stick. You will find even less with the rubber band replaced by a long lasting steel spring! The majority of them made had the head on the control stick, but to operate the mouth one still had to work the string out the back of the neck (like the smaller 30" Danny O'Day dummies. This makes these rarer than the standard ones!- SEE ALL PHOTOS AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION - - Back of the neck says Juro 1967- Clothing is in nice condition considering its age due to handling and storage. I was told the owner did repair some, replace or interchange a head, body part and or a body if one got worn or damaged. If there are any dates, I can only offer that information.
