Etched cut back flowers with a gold wash on areas. Marked on bottom with impressed numbers "16". Form is like a large pill box or the glass and bronze dresser pieces from the same 1880s 1890s period. The box is hinged. Beauty design and patina. Fair to good antique condition for age. No major damage or repairs. The original gold wash has wear in areas. Hinges are in working order. Interior is dirty. Very hard to find bronze gold washed dresser box. Measures about 6" in diameter on the bottom and about 3 3/8" tall. Selling as pictured(bronze box only).
