This shape, with the pronounced rounded rim and foot, and bold bands are indicative of Jeffords Pottery. Jeffords produced graduated bowls with these white and blue bands, with and without the added mocha decoration. This pattern of a wide white band with a narrow blue band beneath it is a visually appealing pattern and even more so with the blue seaweed mocha decorations on the white band. This is a medium size bowl measuring 8 ½” in diameter by 4 ¼” in height, this is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs. These rarely American mocha bowls are highly collectable and make nice additions to any yellow ware collection.
