Lenox Holiday debuted in 1974, sixty-two years later. Unmistakably this is the Holiday we all know and love. This is the only piece I have ever seen, I consider it to be amongst the rarest of rare Lenox and I don't banter that term around lightly. 9" Diameter 7/16" Wide gold encrusted border (half way between 3/8" and 1/2" Sizeable Holly and Berries There are scratches in the ivory center portion, the bowl still shows very well. Examination under a microscope shows the holly and berry leaves to be a transfer. Price? Well, even one such as me that specializes in Lenox and has handled quite a bit is stumped. No doubt, this will be a prized piece for a very special collector. I am open to offers but as I have a serious collection of early Lenox, I am happy to remain the caretaker.
