This is a Georgian period piece that dates around 1800-1820. Circa 1810. Made in the United Kingdom. Unsigned. Beautiful detailed pinprick work with nice water color paints added on paper. The pinprick work is beautifully detailed. The piece is matted and set in an old antique gold oval frame with slightly wavy glass. Antique. On the back there is an old newspaper article on pinprick work that is in a plastic bag. Around 200 years old. Good condition for age. I have not had this out of the frame. Slight toning to pinprick paper. Frame has had some gesso repairs and was repainted a good leaf color. Paper has allover toning. Guaranteed around 200 years old. This type of pinprick work is a lost art and quite scarce. Overall measures about 12 3/4" by 10 1/2" (frame included in measurements). Photos considered part of the description.
