Description: It’s automatic with a motor and the top rolls back and shelves come up. Doesn’t have a battery hooked to it so you can operate it with a hand crank. Did get it to work by hooking up a power tool battery. Awesome piece of history! Not rare but SUPER RARE! Would look great restored. Came out of the US embassy in Japan. Belonged to the first ambassador that was sent to Japan after WW2. I don’t have paperwork about it coming out of the US embassy in Japan or it would be $35,000.
