Description: My father was born in 1904, and throughout my lifetime he kept this pin with his cufflinks and tie tacks. He was not athletic, and he never belonged to a Y, but his father was quite a jock, and I believe it belonged to him, from sometime before he married my grandmother in the late 19th Century. I've searched extensively, and cannot find another like it. I have worn it occasionally, and it never fails to get conversations going, but I believe it belongs with a collector of such memorabilia, or someone who will get more use out of it than I do. Photos show it is slightly over half an inch wide and almost half an inch high. The artificial light I used for my photos makes the red enamel look more orange than its actual red, so with the pearls, it makes a nice red, white, and blue (and gold!) statement.
