I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is a unique "Victory" medal by Klimpl Medal Co. for "BC" Boston College, awarded for "Rope Climb LT 26-27". Rope climbing was an Olympic medal sport in Gymnastics from 1896 to 1932 with competition also on the collegiate level. This medal dates to 1926-27 (the academic year?). The length of the climb in US competition was 25 feet, in Europe it was 8 meters or 26.3 feet. The Kimpl Medal Company was active through at least the 1930s per a letter head from the internet, not included. The only other BC Boston College medal I could find was dated 1915 for wrestling. It is offered on eBay for $495. See penultimate photo, not included.
