Description: SUBJECT: Very rare chatelaine chain locket with small photos of four Union Army Civil War generals. A chatelaine was essentially a keychain, what the woman of the house would wear on her dress along with keys, scissors etc. DATE: 1860s CAPTION: None. SIZE: The locket is 0.75 by 1 inches. The entire chain and locket measure 5.5 inches long. CONDITION: Very nice. The locket/book doesn't close completely. I do combine shipping.
