Description: You are bidding on the Cyas-Ecosse Men's Cologne Bottle seen in the picture! The name of the cologne is "Highland Brigade" and the bottle says "For men who are men"! Produced in Scotland by Cyas-Ecosse, Dundee. Recent thrift store find, I had originally thought it was an old single malt scotch bottle until I did some research and found it was a men's cologne bottle/decanter! This a VERY RARE and Hard to find item and a great addition for you bottle collectors! My guess it was bought in Scotland as I've come to find out that Cyas-Ecosse was a very small Scottish company and wasn't in business for long, so they probably didn't do much exporting. Also, there is NOTHING else like it on ebay that I could find, and as we all know you can find pretty much ANTYING on ebay! I've done some google research and the most I can find out is that Cyas-Ecosse was launched by Heather Struan in 1950. The bottle is about 4" high and 5" base diameter and in the general shape of a Highland Brigadeer military helmet with a handle and pour spout at the top! The bottle label lists the contents of 8 ounces, although it is mostly empty now. There is a cork in the bottle neck and the top piece has broken off, with another piece of the cork still wedged in the stopper and will need a cork screw or utensil to get it out, can't be taken out by hand. Probably had a cap to it at one time, but appears to be long gone. When shaking the bottles, there is no liquid sound, so this is mostly empty, but when you hold it upside down, some oily cologne will leak out and you can smell a very distinctive and strong citrus scent of the cologne! This bottle is very eye catching with a glossy black metallic finish to it with a red ribbon on the handle with green and yellow highlights in it! Clearly mid-20th century, 1950's I am guessing! Can't say enough good things about this! As a bottle collector myself, it's currently being displayed in my home until it's sale! Bottle is in great condition, no physical flaws such as chips, cracks, breaks or scratches! This is a real eye catcher and conversation starter for your home, office, shop or man cave!
