Description: The Jungle Book Shere Kahn Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). The sinister Shere Kahn stalk his prey, a doe, at the 47:44 mark just before being interrupted by Colonel Hathi and The Jungle Patrol. This is an original hand-painted production cel of the sly villain voiced by legendary film-portrayer of Sherlock Holmes, Basil Rathbone. This is an original hand-painted production cel in its original Art Corner setup with gold sticker on back the image measures approximately 5.5' x 5" on a trimmed cel over a blue background. An overlay effects cel of hand-painted water ripples is included and adds a nice touch. Art Corner cels were sold as souvenirs at Disneyland for a couple of dollars and are now highly sought-after by animation collectors. The piece shows minor handling and there are some small stains on the 10" x 8" mat. Condition is Very Good. Buyer adds $10 shipping.
