Description: RARE. EEL RIVER BREWING PAVENSBRAU PORTER BLACK RAVEN draft beer tap handle. Fortuna, California. First Certified Organic brewery. Introduced in 1995. Located in the The Emerald Triangle 10 miles inland from where the Eel River meets the Pacific Ocean. Creating memorable craft experiences in the shadows of the giant Redwoods of Humboldt County. They have been blazing a trail of craft beers for almost 3 decades now. Edgy. Different. Innovative. Daring. Spirited. The Eel River has been watering the giant Sequoias for hundreds of years and annually a host to wild salmon and trout runs as well. This beer won a silver medal at the Colorado Beer Festival over 25 years ago. Eel River Ravensbrau Baltic Porter. 6.3%ABV. Pours dark brown. Roasted malts with notes of chocolate, toffee, hops and fruit. Later they changed the name to 'Organic Porter'. Retired long ago. Tap is listed as used. It remains in excellent condition and was not used to pour beer. There are a few signs of the paint bubbling as seen but no other issues. Very clean specimen. Black and wicked! Like a fine taxidermy project of a raven that died when it crashed in to the pain glass window. The label is like a fine painting with a gold frame painted by hand. Ravensbrau Porter done in blood red over the black. Very cool piece. More than 20 years old. Not many of these were made as the beer had almost no distribution. Rare. Stands 9-1/2 inches tall.
