Description: Back in the 80s & 90s i worked in the music industry at record companies to touring with artists and working at historic venues. Along the way as bands were coming up i would be given and sent these bands demos in hopes of advancing their careers all before they were famous. I would also obtain advance copies of said bands material when they were in semi final and final mix status prior to official releases at the time. These are some from my private collection. This is a VIRGIN STEELE promo cassette/VHS/double poster was given to me by Bobby Buttafuoco (yes Joey's brother lol) who at the time was their manager and was trying to desperately get them seen and heard by anyone and took myself and head of A&R at the time at RoadRunner Records out to lunch to pitch us the band. Needless to say the label passed..but it was a very memorable time in pop culture & rock n roll history!! The video does contain cameos of Joey & Mary Jo Buttafuoco!!
