Description: Offered here is a rare Franciscan Desert Rose Pedestal Tureen in Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks or other defects. This Tureen is the larger of the Desert Rose Tureens and measures approximately 12 inches across handle to handle and is approximately 8 3/4 inches to the top of the finial (Rose Bud). This piece carries the "Franciscan Dinnerware Safe in Dishwasher . . . . " back stamp indicating it was produced in the 1979 to 1984 period. This hard to find beautiful Tureen would be a great centerpiece for and addition to any collection of Desert Rose fine pottery. Please see my other listings of Desert Rose collectibles.
