Description: Rare Vintage French Army Type 660/661 Indochina / Algerian War Era Military Dorsal Paratrooper / Personnel Parachute Canopy, OD Green, Round 28' Diameter with lines cut/removed. Good to excellent condition for age, please note they will likely have some or possibly a lot of sharp burrs (see last photo for example) that will probably need removal depending on use, some may have musty odor and may need cleaning/washing, may have staining, small tears/holes but shouldn't have any major tears/holes. Item you receive may vary slightly from that shown. Most will have some very cool patching/field repairs and variation in color shade, line remnants may be white or green. I believe they're made of silk but not positive, may be silk or cotton blend. Dates are from early 1950s to early 1960s. if you want a particular date (like Indochina War), I will hand select for $25 extra, otherwise date will be random. This item is sold for display/collectible/re-use/GROUND USE purposes, this is a used item approximately 65+ years old and there is no warranty or guarantee in general and/or for using as an actual parachute!
