Description: This is an Early French, German, or Austrian alarm clock. The back plate is stamped D.H. Depose’ and the case looks like Black Forest construction. The clock is in nice condition and ran as it was being listed. The alarm was tested and worked. All of the winders are present and working. There are a few scuffs and scratches and I notice that’s the end of the alarm set hand is missing. The dial looks good with only a very slight hairline, and some old oil around the hands. This clock uses a small pendulum rather than a balance wheel. It could use an all around cleaning. It was not tested for accuracy or run duration and is being sold for restoration. These are pretty rare little clocks, and this one has a great look. It’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
