Description: White Falcon/Falconry Lithograph c1880 - Matthias Wolf, Le Groenlandais, Faucon Blanc Description: Coloured Litho Print "Le Groenlandias faucon Blanc Mue" by Mattias Wolf, circa 1880, approx 20in x 28in print size with an overall size of 27in x 35in. Wood frame with light colored highlights. A beautiful lithograph. This particular artwork was purchased from an estate in the mid 1970’s. Very little is known about its owner or circumstances. However, this print is very old. As can be seen in the photos, this print has never been removed from its frame. It is unknown what, if anything, is on the back. Was dusty from storage when I received it. It is in a very nice frame with museum glass. However, there are some dings and scratches on the frame. Mostly from many years of being displayed and stored. Don’t know a lot about this artwork, but they are not readily available. Especially in this large size or age. So the price is for a print. Also, I can remove the print from its frame and ship it in a tube to save buyer shipping fees.
