Description: This is a very rare copy of "Life's Best . . . Sermons by Louisiana Baptist Ministers", compiled by Rev. A. E. Prince, from 1940. Adding to the rarity is the fact that it was inscribed to Rev. Penrose St. Amant. Both Prince and St. Amant were quite influential ministers, in Louisiana and elsewhere. Penrose St. Amant was later dean of the school of theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). The cover is somewhat worn/torn/faded (see photos).
