Luigi Kasimir was an accomplished artist in copper plate etchings & acquaints, many of which were delicately colored in selective, subtle ways. Do not confuse this with the less expensive “estate” etchings printed post mortem and signed by his son. This piece was made and signed by the artist during his lifetime. This is an extraordinary piece with great dynamism and movement to it. Kasimir's images are usually static representations, but this shows a turbulent sea and dark sky. Very unusual. SUGGEST shipping without the frame and glass as more economical and safer for the print. Buyer's choice (framed or not). Note: The print is pristine without any discoloration or damage. I prefer to ship without glass but matted as seen as seen since it is safer and less expensive. However, if you want it as framed, I will make sure it is packed properly.
