N.Y. PAT'D May. 23. 76. -- Dec. 25. 77. -- May 20. 79.This lamp is NOT marked for Tiffany and Co. however, it is exactly the same, in all respects as the lamps that were sent to Tiffany'sMany different types of lamp shades would be offered for these lamps--and if you are a collector I'm sure you've seen the amazing favrile shades that Tiffany used for these lamps--this lamp does come with two period cased lamp shades--in the shade of light orange--they are pretty much perfect, with no visible chips or flea bites--if you do not want the shades, I will take 300.00 off the price of the lamp--please let me know before purchasing if you just want the lamp with no shades If you happen to have a couple of favrile shades, then your 3500.00 investment just turned into 15,000.00 or more--that's how rare this lamp is--with or without Tiffany markingsThe brass lamp itself is in fantastic condition, with only one small dent on the cannisterIt has been electrified, but very modest modifications were done to the lamp--please see pictures 7, 8, and 9 to see that the only change to the lamp was a small hole on each side in order to accommodate the electric cord.
