Description: MCM Metal Double Wing Medicine Cabinet * Notes: This is a very nice rare must see heavy duty metal medicine cabinet with some normal signs of use. Most likely from the late 40's to mid 50's. It comes with rarely seen Double swing heavy hinged side mirrors that can be moved back and forth. The center door opens nicely and works as it should with 3 movable glass shelves. The artist design Geometric hand carved very clean very thick mirrored Glass is bevelled and in very nice condition with some very minor age appropriate imperfections. This piece came out of a house i remodeled in San Angelo Texas in the Prominent Monticello Park area. The original owner and her daughter built houses side by side about 1929 which is a very interesting story by itself. Both houses were remodeled in the late 40's to early 50's which is probably when this medicine cabinet was added to the guest bath. Research tells me this was most likely a special order designed by a local artist studio in the area. This is the only one remaining i sold the other one locally.
