Compact editions of the NRSV are few and far between. This is an Anglicized edition that features slight textual and punctuation differences from the US text. The text is quite readable as you can see from the pictures and the binding is very flexible as it is bonded leather. Oxford did a unique centering of the text on their Anglicized editions and the typeface is sought after amongst the NRSV editions. It remains amongst the most elusive of compact NRSV, many rebinding them or using them until they simply wear out. It appears unread and contains no writing. The gilding is in great condition, with the tiniest of imperfections. These Oxford NRSVs in the 1990s were the last round of quality Oxford editions in 1998. It features quality paper, sewn binding, a healthy inner margin, and flexible binding.
