MADE TO BE USED WITH AN ANTIQUE STEREOPTICAN 3-D DEVICE, THE TYPE THAT WAS SO POPULAR IN VICTORIAN TIMES. Great depictions of each scene and bright colorful dress and classic tribe hair styles. The first stereo shows a group of KIOWA INDIAN CHILDREN and the second shows a group of MOKI INDIAN MAIDENS. Scans show all the details. These are among the rarest, nicest images I have ever seen, and came out about 1880 or so. ALSO, PARTICULARLY SCARCE IN COLOR FOR SUCH EARLY DAYS.Description of the image is on the bottom.
