Description: 1941 (WW II) BANCO DE COLOMBIA posted envelope to New York, USAEnvelope is stamped 'PASSED BY CENSOR' Envelope with a 1939 Columbia Cinco Centavos brown STAMP andwith a 1939 Colombia Postal Tax 1/2 centavo STAMP andwith a RARE 1941 Red Cross Seal on the back (I am not an expert, but I can not find another Red Cross Seal like this in my research).Appears to have stamped re logo of BANCO DE COLOMBIA in upper left. Postmark is not completely readable but is clearing 194?. Possibly 1941 - dated from Red Cross seal.Size - about 4 1/2" X 6" Condition is used. Envelope has been opened all the way around 3 sides. Shows wear and soiling. Shows remnants of tape. Brown stamp is slightly lifting off on bottom left. See photos.
