Description: This is a rare 16" viola made by Richard Williams in Kansas City in 2011. At the time, Williams was a partner with Anton Krutz, and this viola was made in his shop. These were only made in very small quantities for just a few years. This is the only Richard Williams viola I can currently find available for sale in the United States. Played-in for over a decade, this viola has a sound that's second to none. Strung with Evah Pirazzi Pirastro strings, and 2 bows & case included with instrument. Condition is not as pictured. Any imperfections (nicks, new bridge) have been repaired by a reputable shop and is on consignment there. Bobelock case, Knoll and Bausch bow. Send an offer! Sound sample available on request.
