Description: One (1) Vintage Solari Udine Split Flap Display Unit ("Mod 1" Designation, white Gill Sans lettering). Flap unit is designed to display letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and dash, period, slash, dot symbols. All silk-screened flap cards are present. Dimensions are approximately 1-1/4" in width, 2-1/2" in height and 5-3/4" in depth. Perfect project piece to study and replicate. Authentic period piece. I will also include a copy of Solari's Technical Information booklet which dives into the inner workings of the flap display, and will give you some idea of the electronics required to operate and control this single flap unit. To reiterate, without some sort of electronic control system, these will be static displays. None of the electronics in the video demonstration are included with this listing.
