Description: Up for sale here is a rare vintage Special Edition 2 vinyl LP record and book box set of The Rankin / Bass Production of The Hobbit (Buena Vista Records 103, 1977). The book is beautifully illustrated with art from the classic animated film, and both it and the cover have great decorative value.Condition: Most remarkably, the Discs are in great shape, with 3 of 4 sides appearing mint and barely played if ever, the only exception being Side 2, which has a couple mild scuffs / scratches. Book is excellent, very mild wear and bright graphics, crisp pages. Box has bright graphics, some handling wear, bumping, crease lines, some rubbing, fraying, chips / some paper loss, especially at corners .Please note: The record is untested, and sold as is.As always, item will be packed with great care.
